Different trims offer various lighting effects. See the trim descriptions below to match the trim with the effect you are after.

Baffles
Downlighting can achieve precise lighting effects. Baffle trims trap and shape light to minimize glare and reduce brightness by narrowing the focus of the downlighting beam. They also provide control for reflector style (R, BR and PAR) lamps.

Reflectors
Reflectors maximizes light output. Reflectors are available in various finishes. Choose reflectors for general, accent and task applications in residential and commercial environments.

Wall Washers
Wall washers are used to emphasize vertical surfaces and draw attention to pictures, fireplaces and wall hangings. Wall washing also visually increases the perceived size of a room.

Lenses & Diffusers
Lenses & diffusers are ideal for closets, bathrooms and covered porches to diffuse light and shield the lamp.

Eyeballs & Adjustables
Eyeballs provide adjustable and directional lighting and are suitable for accent, task and wall wash applications.

Air-Tite Trims
All Halo Air-Tite housings accept Halo UL rated trimes with a wide variety of lamps and wattages. Some trims such as the Super Trim make an installation Air-Tite regardless of the housing type.

Open Trims
Open trims are the most economical choice for recessed downlighting. Open trims create an attractive finished look without compromising the efficiency of the light source.
