Halo H27ICT IC 6" Housing
For use in insulated ceilings where 2" x 6" joist construction is used.
Housing Features:
- Integral thermal protector guards against overlamping
- Fixed socket bracket assures consistent lamp position
- Junction box is listed for through branch circuit wiring and has seven 1/2" knockouts with true pry-out slots
- Plaster frame includes locking screw for hanger bars and cutouts for crimping bar hanger in position with pliers
- Pre-installed, captive bar hangers allow housing to be positioned at any point within a 24" joist span. Score lines provided for easy field installation. bar hangers can be repositioned without tools. Bar hangers fit onto T-bar spine for quick alignment and can be permanently secured with optional TB7 T-bar clip
- Socket plug provides protection against paint overspray
Installation Features:
- 5-1/2" height allows use in 2" x 6" joist construction
- Housing adjusts for ceilings up to 1" thick
- Housing adjustment screws can be tightened with flat blade screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, wrench, or nutdriver
